Howdy cowboys and cowgirls,
I'm goin' to teach ya'll how to throw a boots and bling bachelorette part-ay!
But in all seriousness, this theme of bachelorette party makes for a super fun shindig. So grab your cowboy hats and cowboy boots and delve into the world of getting buck wild.
We, of course, have a Pinterest board specifically for a country themed/Nashville themed bachelorette party, check it out for even more inspiration!
Food for this theme, like mostly any other theme, can be any food you'd like. The theme lies within the food setup. So whether you choose hamburgers or filet minion, ensure the theme stays alive.
Throw any snack-like items in mini wooden barrels, large items on cactus shaped plates, and name all your food fun and creative names. For example, call your parmesan french fries, "mini cacti'" or your cotton candy, "tumbleweed".
For your drinks, set up a "Watering Hole" or "Saloon" drink station where your fellow cowgirls can pick their poison. This way everyone can mix their own cocktails while also deciding whether or not to add alcohol.
We've chosen our fav alcoholic country themed recipe to share with you that we've dubbed "The John Wayne" from Epicurious.
To make eight drinks, you will need
- Two large tea bags
- 1/2 cup of boiling water
- 8 fresh mint spring (if you wish)
- 4 cups of lemonade made from concentrate
- 1/2 cup of vodka
- Ice cubes
- 8 lemon slices
Steep tea bags in boiling water for five minutes, then throw away the used tea bags. Place mint into the pitcher and mash the leaves up until they look wilted. Pour in the tea, lemonade and vodka. Let it cool in the fridge and add ice cubes. Serve into eight glasses and garnish with a lemon slice.
Now that your food is all planned out, you probably should invite your favourite ladies. Now-a-days most invites are via text or Facebook, but c'mon, physical invitations call for a great keepsake and memory holder.
Keep the invites short and to the point. The invite below is a perfect example of the simplicity of the invite needed. It is fun and flashy and gets all the right points across.
Dressing for the occasion is of course a biggie so ensure you and your bride tribe are dressed to impress. Whether you're rocking a floral knee length dress and a cowboy hat, or matching custom t-shirts, you'll be sure to make heads roll.
If you're throwing your country themed bach in Nashville, the shirts below are absolutely perfect.
If you're not hosting your party in Nashville, not a problem! We have lots of shirt inspo!
Decorate with mason jars filled with treats or tealights for a soft country look. Use lace table cloths and lacy accents. Appreciate the imperfections of any vintage wear you have (cups, plates, cloths) and set them out. Lastly, use those empty Jack Daniel's bottles as decor. Throw some baby breath flowers in them, and you've got some beautiful decor.
6. Game Ideas
First idea, of course, mechanical bull riding. BUT, mechanical bulls aren't something you can just buy (wait, can you?). So, plan to hit up a bar with a mechanical bull and put some bets down on who can last the longest. Rather than the bets being money, make them dares. This calls for an ~interesting~ night.
Not everyone may want to ride the bull, so ensure there are some fun activities before the bar or club. Set up a "Wanted" photo booth so it looks like a old western prison and POSE!
A fun way to keep track of photos and to have fun with social media is to give your party a hashtag. This way all your girls can add photos and add your hashtag - allowing you to go through your social media and see pictures you may (or may not) remember!
Some fun country or Nashville bachelorette party hashtags are:
